After honing her skills in the hospitality sector as a chef in a well-established bar and restaurant, Katie discovered her true passion for coffee. She transitioned into the world of specialty coffee, taking on the role of barista while managing two well-known coffee shops in the heart of Edinburgh.
With years of hands-on experience and a deep understanding of both the culinary and coffee industries, she decided to take the bold step of opening her own coffee shop—bringing her vision of a welcoming, high-quality coffee experience to the heart of Edinburgh.

Our Story
We try to source all of our ingredients locally and ethically, starting with the coffee beans — making sure everything that goes on your plate or in your cup leaves you happy and satisfied. We’re an independent where you can still grab a humble breakfast roll for your Edinburgh strolls, or sit in and dine on some fantastic brunch, have a natter, or settle in comfortably for a solo date.
